      Conducted and managed an independent research project as part of a Master’s thesis. Was responsible for: ensuring timely completion of fieldwork, handling confidential information with care, clearly communicating with research participants, municipal organizations and stakeholders, interpreting existing literature and policies, creating and following a project budget, data collection, coding and analyzing large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data, and writing an evidence-based research thesis with clear policy recommendations. Pleva Teaching Assistantship Award. Responsible for leading a classroom of over 50 students, the delivery and presentation of material, facilitating class discussions, clearly explaining scientific concepts, creating an inclusive and accessible learning environment, providing grades and feedback, and communicating with students promptly. Was hired to assist a professor with revamping an undergraduate course's material and structure.
