Also, his personal and community development experiences have helped special needs people to learn and grow. Thus, Jim's current goal of charting a new path forward by writing a book that will help others. The spiritual awareness book is about lessons learned over the past five decades of his life’s journey as mentioned above. It will help others better deal with the challenging times of 21st century. Jim serves as a Durand board member and is a member of the Strategic Planning, Audit committees and Co-Chair of the 50th year Anniversary Celebration Committee as well as he continues as the Foundation President. Jim was Co Chair of the Giant Step Parent Group and Co Founder of The Giant Step Special Needs School serving special needs children in the Toronto Ontario area. Show less
