  Culminated a 17-year, progressive tenure at Aspire (a nonprofit provider of services to people with developmental disabilities) as Quality Analyst, a position that had been created for the purpose of evaluating regulatory compliance of critical programs and services. Led and participated in quality improvement projects that consistently met or exceeded regulations and improved the quality of care and treatment of all clients. As Quality Analyst, conducted exclusion checks, implemented internal audits, and conducted investigations into allegations of fraud and unethical behavior. Conducted quality assurance reviews and look-behind audits, resulting in optimal regulatory survey results and prevention of repeated deficiencies. Conducted a full, multi-year audit of Residential Habilitation services in 2002, as directed by NYS OMRDD Department of Budget, to evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements.   Compliance Coordinator

  As coordinator of all facets of the Corporate Compliance Program for this senior living community (which includes a skilled nursing facility, assisted living program, assisted living residence, community residences, Certified Home Health Agency, and outpatient services), provide effective oversight of programs and facilities to ensure adherence to critical regulatory requirements. Closely collaborate with corporate officers and administrators to develop the corporate compliance program and to implement the annual compliance work plan. Chair the Corporate Compliance Committee meetings and maintain records of activity.
