      In my DHDK path I learnt the core concepts of programming (Python), web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, React) and technical tools for NLP such as text mining. I dived into deep learning and Transformer architecture for NLP.I ended up working on my final thesis on Document AI, a new branch of research that is at the crossroad between Computer Vision and NLP. in order to extract information from visually rich documents.

      I mainly work on Smart Document Understanding tasks using deep learning and Transformer-based architectures.My research work focuses on multimodal models that rely on visual, geometrical and textual features in order to extract information from structured and instructed documents. It includes all the necessary steps from experimental research to production: obtaining and cleaning data, training the models, evaluating them and finally deploying them for production.I also have deep experience with generative AI models and different training procedures such as LoRA and QLoRA.
