  During my internship at Aplikato, a Frankfurt-based recruiter company, I undertook a significant project involving the development of an HR tool that employed NLP and Machine Learning to extract key information from CVs and resumes. My responsibilities included utilizing Python to extract important details such as name, education, and birthdate from the applicant's CVs, as well as web scraping job description data from websites such as Indeed and Stepstone, and matching it with the CVs. To accomplish this, I utilized NLP libraries such as Spacy, NLTK, and re, and for web scraping, I employed Beautiful Soup 4 and Requests.   I worked on a thesis project in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning. My research focused on developing and training machine learning models to predict user behavior and provide personalized recommendations for exercise routines in an AI fitness application. Specifically, I utilized computer vision techniques such as human pose estimation to inform the machine learning models. In addition, I created a web application that takes input from users' height and weight, calculates their BMI, and categorizes them as underweight, normal weight, or overweight.
