  Spent 4 years with the IMG ( International Management Group ) , the world’s largest sports management company, firstly in their Monaco office for 3 years then for a year in the London office. Responsible for financial management of a portfolio of major sports and entertainment personalities.

  Involved in a number of Investment Banking and Corporate finance activities including running own boutique investment business with another partner.Within this period I was also Finance Director for 2 years of a UK Listed London hotel group, London Park Hotels PLC and helped in its development and subsequent sale to another public company for some £50 million.

  Zola Hotel Group

  Chief Executive

  Founder and chief executive of the Zoffany hotels group and related Zola hotels group. Zoffany hotels was a mid market town centre hotel group grown through acquisition and property development .The first hotel was acquired in 1993 and at its sale in 2001 the group consisted of some 13 hotels . The business was financed via private equity finance and by a wealthy individual , Richard Koch. It was sold to another private hotel group for some £45 million, producing a long term IRR of over 25% over the 8 year period. Zoffany featured 2 years running in the top 10 fastest growing UK companies (S Times / Virgin Fast Track) and also in the UK top 20 profit growth businesses .After the sale of Zoffany the Zola group became a more individual hotel focused business with the acquisition and sale of a further 8 hotels, all producing excellent investment returns.
