  During my time as an Assistant Branch Manager at Newton Branch we had tremendous growth. I achieved this by being the model for efficiency, showing good profitability and maintaining an enjoyable atmosphere for employees which was demonstrated by the results of the employee survey. Newton branch’s growth resulted in a 30% increase in full time positions since 2000. I was chosen to be the Chairperson for our Bright Ideas Committee which was responsible for gathering and forwarding great ideas from our employees that benefited our members, staff and our credit union. Show less As a personal account manager, I gained skill and knowledge in, personal and mortgage lending, estate handling, registered and regular term investments, along with handling collections and achieving my targets and goals for the year. In addition to managing lending, investments, and day to day banking for my portfolio I was part of the due diligence committee in 1997 for Maple Ridge Merger and was thanked by the Board and CEO for my participation.   As a Branch Manager, in addition to direct reports, I am proud to have coached and developed 13 Management trainees which is integral to succession planning. The effectiveness of my coaching skills is demonstrated in the number of employees that have advanced to greater responsibilities under my training, including branch management positions. My purpose in life is to help people, at home, at work and in my community, to make a positive impact on people every day.
