During Jan 2009 - May 2009, I was given an internship with the Human Resources Department where I experienced first hand what it meant to be an HR Generalist. I gained valuable experience on how to file and update immigration visas for students and faculty, conducted the Annual Service Award ceremony for entire university staff and supported the Open Enrollment process for qualified employees.
