Main Functions:-Capacity Assessments-Order Fulfillment Readiness Assessments - In depth audit that analyzes supplier's Order Fulfillment Processes throughout the Value Chain-Tactical Support for Deliveries in the event a supplier is not meeting expectations-MCT and VSM projects - Reduce waste and non value-add work in production process-Risk Assessment - Audit supplier's awareness and preparedness for risk events such as natural disaster, workplace disruption, loss of power, etc. In the event a supplier is not adequately prepared for risk events, processes are established and documented to allow quick and efficient response that mitgates delivery disruption and final impact to John Deere units.-Tactical Risk Management - John Deere Power Systems point contact and first responder to risk events that could potentially cause supply chain disrution.       John Deere Power Systems Employee Recognition John Deere Power Systems Oct 2013 Received the JDPS Employee Recognition Award given to employees for outstanding work in a group or individual project. This award recognized efforts and actions taken during a crisis requiring us to transfer 126 production part numbers to a new source due to the current supplier filing for bankruptcy. Through close management, including on-site support for over 4 months, JDPS factories did not experience any down-time as a result of the supplier bankruptcy.
