      • Wrote Excel VBA script to iterate through applicant scoring spreadsheets from the 2011-2016 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) competitive award rounds, analyzed the data to determine the relative competitiveness of individual scoring criteria, and made policy recommendations resulting in the removal of multiple uncompetitive scoring criteria from the 2018-2019 Qualified Allocation Plan for the State of Indiana.• Reviewed tax credit applications for threshold qualifications and scoring based on objective Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) criteria, and worked as part of the analyst team to identify final 2017 LIHTC recipients.• Researched and compiled a report on other state’s use of federal Tax Credit Assistance Program (TCAP) funds to determine precedent or stipulations for allocating funds that had returned from revolving loan programs.• Analyzed market studies for the 2016 competitive 9% tax credit award round to determine if sufficient project demand existed in each area to warrant a project.• Performed a Pearson’s Chi-Squared Test on Set-Aside choice and funding to determine relative advantage of applicants in each funding category (ex. Elderly vs. Rural), and discover if the current scoring system was over privileging the Elderly funding category.• Interpreted population, migration, and housing statistics from the American Communities Survey to create the Housing Needs Index, a new scoring category in the 2018-2019 QAP designed to advantage developments in high need areas.• Identified a list of potential counties for the new Workforce Housing Set Aside, using statistics drawn from the Innovation Index 2.0 from StatsAmerica in order to advantage developments with employment opportunities.• Learned MS. The enterprise has generated over three million Guinean Francs in profit so far (~300 USD) and represents at least a two-hundred percent rise in income relative to working as a field hand. • Studied and became proficient in both Kissi; the local language spoken at my site, and French; the professional and working language of Guinea.• Advised farmers on coffee and cacao plantation design using techniques such as intercropping with banana trees to increase per-hectare productivity, and contour planting to reduce erosion and create terraces on hillside farms.• Co-developed pre-service training materials for incoming Agroforestry Trainees alongside program staff • Mentored newly arrived Peace Corps Trainees during their Pre-service and In-service trainings• Co-facilitated the introduction of Orange Flesh Sweet Potato (OSFP) with the Faindou health agent and a women’s health group and co-created an OSFP agricultural business in Yende, a nearby city with two-thousand inhabitants, in partnership with a local agricultural school graduate and the director of the sub prefectural health center.
