  Owner of the stock record system which involved accurate reporting and gap analysis to control stock levels with the aim to have full availability for the customer, manage shrink and actively maintain the promotional space within the store. Proactively problem-solving, data/ reports analyzing to ensure efficiency and maximum profit returns. Coaching colleagues and making necessary corrective actions.One system I developed during my time as a stock and systems manager for Morrisons, was running in all stores in the Manchester region for just under a year and saved 7-14 hours a week in process time per store. I did this through report automation to give the end-user better data to work with and to remove downtime in a task that was not streamlined.   Working with OrderWise software (Business ERP, Warehouse Management & Stock Control Software) in the Reports and Layouts team, this role consisted of:Consulting with clients to capture their requirements and interpreting this into a technical specification. Developing the agreed spec into a bespoke report using T-SQL and SQL server management studio, Excel / VBA, or a custom layout using DevExpress XtraReport (an alternative to Crystal Reports) (some VB.NET use). Implementing the report/ layout with the client on their OrderWise software and ensuring they are satisfied with the completed development.Maintaining a good working relationship with the clients and internally as the Reports and Layout team work closely with Project and Account Management teams.Fulfilling the role of Second Line Support for issues and queries escalated from First Line Support team. Logging in with clients remotely to diagnose the issue and either taking it away to investigate or resolve the problem there and then.Keeping the internal knowledge base up to date with new findings, instructions for future reference and updating past entries.
