      Developed and executed regional strategy for advancing a shared vision for excellent early childhood instruction among KIPP DC academic leaders, principals, teachers, and external partners to ultimately impact over 1,500 students. As a result, nearly 80% of teachers shared a common vision for effective teaching. Provided ongoing, strategic support to leadership teams at five schools in areas of coaching, data analysis, and instructional practices. As a result, nearly 85% of teachers agreed that their regional/school leadership helped them develop relevant content knowledge. Show less Collaborated with principal to develop and execute holistic vision for new early childhood school for 300+ students and 30+ staff members. School received “Tier 1” status annually from DC Public Charter School Board, and top ranking of all elementary schools citywide in 2015-16. Designed comprehensive pre-k literacy and math frameworks, tools, and resources to facilitate effective instruction for over 400 students at two KIPP DC schools. After two years of implementation at Connect Academy, 92% of students met regional literacy goals, and 85% met regional math goals.Re-envisioned new-teacher training to focus on teacher-child relationships as foundation for instruction. 100% of teachers cited positive impact on student learning; approach adopted regionally by KIPP DC.       Lead planning, launch, and implementation of multiple new, high-profile District initiatives – including holistic, equity-centered Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and High Impact Tutoring (HIT) – to accelerate student learning. In SY22-23, over 16,500 students received tiered supports in academics, attendance, behavior, and/or social-emotional learning through MTSS, including over 6,300 students who received HIT. Manage distribution of $22M in federal relief funds across 116 schools for school-specific, evidence-based acceleration programming, including application process, allocation methodology, and programmatic oversight. Oversee implementation of centralized coaching and support of schools across 19 content teams in alignment with District and school-specific strategic plans; over 7,700 coaching touchpoints were conducted in SY22-23. Secured nearly $1.5M in new public and private grants to support High Impact Tutoring and summer acceleration programming. Show less
