      This industrial internship on "Embedded Systems" helped me to understand the architecture and instructions used in 8051 and Arduino Uno microcontrollers. I have also learnt about various communication protocols used in embedded systems like UART, USB, SPI and I2C. Finally,I implemented an Arduino based fire alarm system using gas sensor and LM35 temperature sensor.

      I am involved in development of networked applications using Raspberry pi 4 running QNX Neutrino RTOS 7.1. I have enabled SSH, created a read-write QNX filesystem, and added iperf3 utility in RPi4B running QNX Neutrino RTOS 7.1.I have developed client-server application for bandwidth analysis using TCP and UDP. The client application is executed on the host device and the server application is executed on the target device, which is RPi4B running QNX Neutrino RTOS 7.1. Using the client-server application model, data transfer rate and date acceptance rate are calculated at the target device end and host device end. To compare the results obtained using the client-server application model, iperf3 utility is used in server mode at the target device end and in client mode in the host device end to calculate the data transfer rate and data acceptance rate at the host device end and target device end.Secure copy protocol is built on top of SSH protocol to securely transfer files from the host device to target device. To implement SCP, a python application is developed in the host device using the "Paramiko" library. WinSCP is also used to implement SCP over SSH.I have also developed a QNX hypervisor to allow multiple guest OS to run on RPi4B running QNX Neutrino RTOS 7.1. As a result, I have executed a QNX Hypervisor host OS on top of RPi4B board. The host OS develop a QNX Hypervisor, which initiates 2 qvm-safety processes to execute 2 QNX VM configuration files, which are used to configuration and assemble 2 QNX guest VMs on top of the QNX hypervisor. Now, each of the guest QNX VM loads a QNX guest IFS to run a QNX guest OS in the VM. So, finally, 2 QNX guest operating systems execute in the QNX guest VMs, which are assembled by the QNX hypervisor. A networking ideology is developed to execute guest-to-guest, guest-to-host and guest-to-world communication. Show less
