      Jun 2013 - Mar 2014

Lab Demonstrator for the first year Physics Modules PY1052 and PY1053 in the first and second teaching periods respectively. -This position involved analysing multiwavelength observationsm of Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) from the VLBA in the 4.6 - 12 GHz ranges.-The data was used to look for faraday rotation gradients in the jets of these AGN. This was done by applying new error analysis to existing observed gradients while also new gradients were found.

        Sept 2013 - Mar 2014
      • Summer Research Student

Lead Lab Demonstartor and Teaching Assistant

Worked as a lead part time lab demonstrator and teaching assistant for the Physics department in UCC. The lab demonstration involved guiding undergraduate students through their lab sessions by explaining the abs in a brief pre practical talk and then assisting students while they complete the lab. This work also involved correcting reports and providing feedback while also directing and instructing the less experienced lab demonstrators in the lab sessions. I also worked as a teaching assistant for the undergraduate 1st year physics modules, by giving weekly tutorials where i went through homework problems and helped prepare students for in class tests and MCQs using sample questions.
