  Supervises and directs the activities of operation to supply water to all consumer in the assigned area within Alain city. Manages and co-ordinate with head of Section for periodic testing and sampling of water to ensure good quality of water supplied to consumers. Control the day to day distribution system and prepare on a monthly basis reports and distribution program per areas . Monitors the daily valve operations as well as the water supply pressure. Raising work request, material request and filling actual in the Computer maintenance and material management system( Maximo) and forward the same to head of section for review and approval. Plan & organizing the necessary shut down and flushing of the water network without any effect to the customer demand.  Participate in preparing business plan for operation and maintenance plan. Participate in the process and issue along with other relevant authorities, the final acceptance certificate (PAC & FAC) relating to new water net work done by contractor and taking over the network after commissioning as end-user. Participated in technical evaluation of the contractor’s submittal and monitor the construction activities as a member of project management team for supply and installation of water meters for bulk connections as well as pipelines in Al ain.  Preparing weekly and monthly reports for pressure monitoring points in alain, water quality report, customer complaints, shutdowns and all other operation activities. Preparation of preventive maintenance plan. Design and shop drawing review of the contractor’s submittals. Participated in preparation of Water Leak detection reports and plan to evaluating and control the Non Revenue Water (NRW) Show less
