  Psicoalternativas provides education and psychology services for diverse populations focusing specially in the LGBT+ population. We provide psychotherapy for individual, family, couples and groups. On our educations department we develop and facilitate continuum education for health professionals and consultation for organizations and companies. I am the Executive Director and provide clinical services as well.

  Oversees Non-profit organization functioning, writes proposals, conducts meetings with Board of Directors and potential donors and sponsor, and ensures the organizations path towards its mission. Our foundation develops aid projects for the trans, queer, and non-binary populations of Puerto Rico such as: gender affirming surgery grants, small work project grants, and binder exchanges. Participates in fundraising activities such as the All Out 5k Committee.

  Translucent Clinic: Psychological services offered in a multidisciplinary trans-centric clinic. Evaluations and follow ups are performed in individual sessions. Support groups are coordinated and facilitated for the trans feminine and trans masculine communities. I was the principal investigator of TWEET an evidenced based intervention funded by HRSA. Oversaw the staff and deliverables during the planning and implementation phases. Participated in the needs assessment of the trans community. Provided technical assistance and referrals to trainings. Involved in outreach activities, program evaluation, and program promotion during the intervention and represents the site in related meetings. Research funded by AIDS United, Fenway Institute and HRSA. Show less

As a startup we are working on the development and testing of the platform that will revolutionaize the way we provide psychological services in Puerto Rico and Latin America. Oversee company functioning and app development, writes proposals, conducts meetings with partner and potential clients, and sets the companies path towards future projects. This company participated and was awarded in Guayacan’s 2018 EnterPRize Program and won the Disruption Award and Health Innovation Award. Also, in 2021 the company won a place in the Bravo Family Foundation Rising Entrepreneur Program and in 2022 in Pre18. Show less
