And I set up and created a log to track maintenance and debug of production tools and production numbers. All this was done to be compliant with ISO 9001, 2000. My main focus was to help develop and improve business processes, increase productivity and machine efficiency and safety, and to help cut costs and boost company profits. My primary responsibilities were to process all incoming work through the shop in a timely and efficient manner. Other responsibilities were: ordering material for the jobs, obtaining price quotes from vendors for needed materials, order the best material at the cheapest price while attaining the best delivery of the product; coordinating with outside companies for post manufacturing processing and secondary operations; quoting jobs and processing new incoming orders; working with engineering to help with the redesign or correction of product prints for manufacture details, to make products faster, easier, and more efficiently.
