  Raised and managed various strains of trout for stocking in the waters of Nevada.Was responsible for the receiving and hatching trout eggs within the hatchery building through use of various anti fungal / parasite chemicals and practices. I raised the trout to approximately 400 fish/lb and then oversaw transfer of the fry to large raceways and continued growth of the trout. I was responsible for overall care of the hatchery building.I also helped raise trout from the fry stage to approximately 6in in length in the larger raceways as well as maintenance of those raceways. Once the fish were of the appropriate size for the stocking plan I would load the tanker truck and stock the indicated bodies of water throughout the state of Nevada. Show less
