Assisted D&D team with various projects including implementing Single Sign On, migration to .NET technologies, integration of third party solutions, and assistance in deployment issues to in-house platforms, leading to release allowing Wizards to collect fees from their user base for the first time. Instrumental in bringing Account Management site (https://accounts.gleemax.com), as well as in house admin tool to production ready, D&D site (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/welcome) .NET migration, SSO WebService additions to support security questions and other items, and the confirmation of Agile and SCRUM processes’ use at Wizards.   Software consultant farmed out to The Pokemon Company International, to assist with localization efforts. Position quickly shifted to assist with automated UI testing on mobile devices at AWS Device Farm, as well the infrastructure to deliver apps and tests to devices hosted there. On the localization theme, first automated test verified app changes for the FIGS languages. Made improvements to automation framework to capture common navigation scenarios to a reusable layer. Improved reporting system to reduce notification fatigue, and designed system change for a tenfold gain in time to test multiple streams, with unlimited upside as long as devices are available. Team was doubled in size, contract extended twice. Work shifted to a team developing qTest automation, automatically generating test cases and test runs based on Content change Jira tickets. Instrumental in fleshing out requirements for tool as well as being one of two key developers. Tool will save test lead 10 – 15 hours repeatedly on an ongoing basis as new Content is released in multiple streams of development. Successfully delivered.
