  Rootzz is een stichting die een netwerk van uit Zeeuws-Vlaanderen afkomstige HBO en WO studenten heeft opgebouwd. Deze organisatie is opgericht om aan de opleving van Zeeuws-Vlaanderen te werken. Veel studenten trekken weg uit de regio om elders in Nederland te gaan studeren en wonen. Het merendeel van deze groep keert na de studie niet meer terug. Het gevolg is dat het bedrijfsleven in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen moeilijk aan hoger opgeleid personeel kan komen. Middels Rootzz proberen we studenten in te laten zien dat Zeeuws-Vlaanderen genoeg te bieden heeft. Naast voldoende rust en grote steden binnen handbereik, is er voor hoger opgeleiden op het gebied van werkgelegenheid ruim voldoende aanbod in de regio. Rootzz levert tevens een bijdrage aan het aantrekkelijker maken van Zeeuws-Vlaanderen voor (oud)studenten. Dit doet zij door het organiseren van maandelijkse borrels. Deze borrels - gekenmerkt door een hoop gezelligheid - staan in het teken van samenkomen met vrienden, het terugzien van oude bekenden en de mogelijkheid tot het leggen van contact met het zakenleven.
