      My hobby is to run a long-standing, niche weekend music festival every August Bank Holiday, which I started back in 1998 when I was studying at the University in Bradford. I currently manage the non-technical volunteer crew, traders, press, accommodation and ticket office. I work very closely with a professional tour manager who runs the artist bookings, technical production and hospitality side of the event.Infest is an Alternative electronic music event, showcasing genre-defining and well respected acts from the Industrial, EBM, Synthpop, Darkwave and Noise genres, from the 1980s to the present day. We have artists and customers travelling from as far as Canada, the USA and Australia, with the core of the acts being British, German, Belgian, and Scandinavian. Infest really brings people together!Our customers come to the show for the chance to see some very significant acts in the genre alongside new talent. They perform on a small but impeccably run stage, in intimate and friendly surroundings, with our respected production and hospitality values. Show less

Including the streamlining of Accounts Receivable / Invoicing processes, and the facilitation of sales activity reporting improvements. Key contact with internal customers, ie heads of regional businesses. Data Centre implementation in the UK and new office fit-out project overseas (new Italian HQ in Frascati, Rome). Defining user processes and support methodologies for ITIL Service Desk system implementation. Technical fault finding and internal customer support liaison. Working between artists in a design studio, and graphic designers and reprographics teams in a production studio. Handling original artwork and preparing it for box and book design, as well as retrieving archived electronic product for reprints and translation.

Liaising with all levels of the client clubs’ staff from chief executives to ticket office managers to IT support and end users. Projects includes: - Stadium access control ticket scanning solution: From research and development to production and implementation. Integration included working with industry leading turnstile manufacturers Broughton Controls and Security Solutions. - Ticketing kiosk solution: From CAD to full proprietary fabrication and physical installation. Key features include cash and card payment methods, ticket and receipt printing technology and high security vandal resistant display. Hardware integration included Verifone, Secure Retail, Innovative Technologies, AccessIS, Camlock Systems, plus ELO, Boca and Epson components. - Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) PIN Entry Device (PED) third party software integration and hardware implementation, including Verifone (Commidea), DataCash and WorldPay. - PCI DSS and PA DSS compliance projects, to ensure that software, infrastructure and business processes meet Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. - Data Centre migration and implementation of new firewall and load balancer technologies.- Software development of bespoke ticketing system for Harrods Christmas Grotto, taking the role of Product Owner as well as Project Manager from initiation, development, testing, implementation and Go Live.- Project Manager for estate-wide conversion from onsite database servers to SaaS online-hosted solution.
