      Led, supervised, reviewed and approved all City infrastructure projects, improvements and facility designs. Key projects accomplished include the design and construction of several Municipal Park and Recreation facilities, street/highway/sidewalk/parking lot and drainage projects, creek restoration projects, a multi-million dollar FEMA grant project for Fountain Creek through the heart of Woodland Park and the design and construction of a new Fleet Maintenance Shop. Lead and supervise the 20 person staff of the Public Works Department. Directs the City’s Public Works and Engineering functions and staff; including Public Works Administration; Streets; Fleet Maintenance; Parks, Buildings and Grounds; and Engineering/Inspection. Plan and execute infrastructure capital improvements and maintenance to include facilities, multi-modal transportation systems, and drainage systems, City-wide Pavement Management Plan development and implementation, as well as maintenance of all City vehicles and equipment. Coordinates and implements the City’s technical review regarding Public Works for specifications, project design, plan review, ordinances, resolutions, policies, and contract administration. Led and supervised the development of all new City Engineering Specifications and a Drainage Criteria Manual for the City. Supervised and managed several major repair and reconstruction projects for City Hall. Serves as the technical advisor to the City Manager and City Council. Developed and implemented a citywide Pavement Management Plan for the City of Woodland Park with in excess of 55 centerline miles of streets. Secured annual funding of over $400K annually to implement the plan. Pavement strategies have included full depth reclamation and re-construction, mill and overlay, cape seal, chip seal and seal coating. Supervised the maintenance and construction of all drainage infrastructure within the city limits to include open ditches, inlets, pipes and culverts. Show less
