  I worked for three years on a part time basis as a researcher investigating about ethnic minority communities in the United Kingdom and their involvement within social enterprise initiatives as well as the policy agenda related to both. I also conducted a research study about the contracting opportunities for ethnic minority related social enterprises in the East London Olympic Games.   I worked as the Social Enterprise Coordinator at the Enterprise Development Hub at Middlesex University where I organised workshops, events, conferences, hackathons and offer consultancy services for staff and students at Middlesex University. I had also worked with charities in the Barnet area helping in their journey towards the social enterprise business' model. My specialist area of research focuses on social enterprise, social innovation, innovation in higher education, the social and solidarity economy, circular economy, shared economy, bartering systems and complementary currencies, cultural diversity, enterprise and socio-economic development, disadvantaged communities and related social policies. Lately, I have specialised in conducting researching using visual research, particularly the use of video ethnography.
