  Electrical Manufacturing Support Engineer

  My role involved the design and layout of electrical control panels for robotic Shoe Machinery. Also involved the design of Sheet Metalwork, the use of CAD to formulate engineering drawings, Technical Authoring of Support Documentation and providing training for Sub-Contractors to de-skill and modularise the assembly methods.

  IT Support Engineer

  At Fujitsu, I managed a Support Helpdesk for IMAC Desktop/Laptop and Managed Printer Installation for a major Banking Sector Client. The role involved supporting both the client PMs and Fujitsu Installation Engineers, for installing IT hardware and software for End Users, The role also involved technical authoring of Supporting Documents and Checklists and Engineer Training Seminars. Also involved the support of 40 local Commissioning Centre IT Staff commissioning IT for client rollouts.

  IT Support Engineer

  My role at Fujitsu eventually moved to Project Support on overnight installations of IT and associated furniture into a major retail client. The role involved supporting both the client PMs and Fujitsu Installation Engineers, for installing IT hardware and software for the back office, and shelf label/POS printing. It also involved the liaison with other trades project managers to ensure the installation was successful and on-time.The role was also involved with project start-up of scanner wall implementations and associated back office server, and all technical authoring of supporting documents and checklists.   My current role is very broad based and flexible, and encompasses many versatile skills from Desktop IT Installation, Retail IT Installation, Copper Structured Data Cabling Support, Kiosk Installations, Power, Data and IT Surveys, Fitting Works, Cisco Routing and Switching Technologies and Configurations, and much more. The Main Role involves Pilot Installations, Engineer Support, Engineer Training and Technical Authoring of Supporting Documents and Checklists to deliver a successful install rollout for the client.
