      The function of Stadsregisseur (City Director) was created by the Vital Economy Steering Group to connect ideas and initiatives and to encourage cooperation between all entrepreneurial groups in Wijk bij Duurstede (NL). In addition, the City Director conducts strategic consultations with stakeholders such as the Municipality, Entrepreneurs Fund, Entrepreneurs' Circle, Hart van Wijk, VVV Kromme Rijnstreek and Stichting Parkbeheer Bedrijventerreinen.More than 2,500 entrepreneurs are active in Wijk bij Duurstede, Cothen and Langbroek, including companies on industrial estates, shops, restaurants and the self-employed. There is a need for connection and potential for joint activities and more clout for collaboration and new initiatives.
