  Tasks, Roles & Responsibilities 1) Study assigned portion/system/division of the Tender in case of completion and feasible to start the bid study with and reports (Review project specifications and Bill of Quantity against project drawings to ensure accuracy of all estimates produced).2) Check tender documents completeness and Classify tender documents as per departments scope.3) Prepare list of major quantities.4) Review and prepare inquiries (RFQs) to suppliers sub-contractors.5) Prepare tender queries to client/Engineer.6) Visit tender site and collect technical data and support in the site visit report preparation.7) Communicate with suppliers/sub-contractors, receive offers and compare the offers technically andcommercially.8) Prepare Technical Proposal for assigned portion and reports.9) Prepare itemized lists, including all necessarydetails of materials for the bid to fully comply with the specification.10) Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labor and equipment for construction projects based on contract bids, schematic drawings and specifications using current quotations, historical information for his / her assigned portion of the study for final approval.11) Review project specifications and Bill of Quantity against system drawings to ensure accuracy of all estimates produced.12) Formulate the coding of unit cost sheet.13) Review unit cost sheet preparation.14) Review and manage prices in unit cost sheet, incorporation with the concerned department(s).15) Prepare the technical and commercial comparisonsheets for the suppliers offer.16) Prepare estimates by assembling product requirements; calculating costs; applying margins to ensure that estimates address all potential safety risks and concerns .
