      International Relations Intern

I gained hands-on experience in international relations by contributing to various advocacy initiatives and promoting International Humanitarian Law. I worked closely with members of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, supporting cooperation efforts and facilitating the preparation of key international meetings. My responsibilities included following up on international conferences, drafting invitation letters, and maintaining regular communication with embassies to coordinate diplomatic engagements. • Università Bocconi

      Jan 2019 - Jul 2022

I provided tailored support to individual students and small groups to help them better understand the course material and complete their assignments. My responsibilities included holding weekly office hours, grading homework, programming assignments, exams, and projects, and maintaining accurate student records. Additionally, I prepared lecture slides and acted as the course webmaster, ensuring all materials were accessible to students. The courses I worked on as a teaching assistant included Public Finance (Professors Paola Profeta, Carlo Devillanova, Paolo Castelnovo), Diversity Management and Policy (Professor Paola Profeta), International Relations (Professor Massimo Morelli), Politics and Policy Making (Professor Paolo Graziano), and Institutions, Government and Society (Professors Carlo Devillanova and Francesco Billari). Show less As a doctoral researcher with a specialization in health and social dynamics, my thesis focused on public trust in the healthcare system, addressing gaps in the existing literature on how trust is conceptualized and measured. I developed a comprehensive theoretical framework that accounted for the complexity and multidimensionality of public trust, distinguishing between direct and indirect interactions with the healthcare system. My research included the creation and validation of a new scale to measure public trust in the healthcare system in Italy, with a focus on institutional trust. Additionally, I conducted a survey experiment to explore the role of indirect experiences in shaping public trust, particularly among racial and ethnic groups in the U.S. The outcomes of my research contribute not only to academic discussions but also offer practical tools for assessing and potentially improving public trust in healthcare systems. Show less As a Lecturer for the course "Methods and Tools for Policy Analysis," I was responsible for teaching Stata, experimental methods, and qualitative methods to graduate students. I designed and delivered lectures that provided both theoretical foundations and practical applications of these tools in policy analysis. In addition to classroom instruction, I tutored students, offering individual guidance to help them navigate the complexities of data analysis and research methodologies. I also assessed student performance through exams and practical assignments, ensuring they gained a comprehensive understanding of the course content and its relevance to policy evaluation and decision-making. Show less As a Research Assistant on the project "Let the Voters Choose Women," I participated in the data collection phase focused on gathering detailed candidate lists from municipalities that voted in 2013. This involved contacting local electoral offices directly, as the data were not publicly available online or through the Ministry of Interior. I was responsible for requesting and compiling candidate lists from each municipality, including the original party-composed candidate ordering and the number of preference votes each candidate received. This effort required persistence and strong organizational skills to ensure comprehensive data coverage across the municipalities in the sample. Show less

      Research Coordinator

As a Research Coordinator for the EU-funded advanced research grant "REPGOV," I am responsible for supporting and coordinating research activities within a diverse, international, and interdisciplinary team. My role involves facilitating collaboration between team members, managing timelines, and ensuring that research objectives are met.
