The program targets high achieving girls limited in opportunity because of low family income and lack of exposure to higher education.-Advised and mentored nine Junior Teachers, who are current high school students, who developed activities for middle school students-Collaboratively establishes a high-energy, positive, and supportive tone in the program through group-building games, stories, quotations, traditions, contests, and special events-Supported, encouraged and evaluated Junior Teachers, offering them a quality introduction to the teaching field through meetings, observations and facilitating conversations-Oversaw the organization of the Junior Teachers as they manage daily tasks (choice period, theme lunches, bulletin boards, etc.) Show less
