  As Consultant Gynecologist – Obstetrician, Chief of Departments of Emergencies and Obstetrics, Instructor –Professor of Gynacology & Obstetrics, I have provided an effective and high quality gyneco-obstetric service for outpatients and inpatients in the departments of Obstetrics and Emergencies, performing a wide spectrum of obstetrical and gynecological procedures and both, elective and emergency surgical interventions. My job also involved the echographic assessment of gynecology and obstetrics patients and management of the critic obstetrical patient in the Intensive Care Unit. In terms of administration I was responsible of leading the specialized medical staff; coordinate all the daily care activities and the design of algorithms for the management of the most common obstetric pathologies.I was also responsible for practical and theoretical training of junior doctors, technicians and students, advising research projects, as well as lecturing and curricular developing.I was secretary of the Directive Board of the Provincial Chapter of the Cuban Gynecology and Obstetrics Scientific Society, attending and organizing many clinical, professional and research meetings, and conducting reviews and investigations on my field.
