      In secondary school I was a very driven and focused student, I worked hard on achieving good grades while still being involved in many other aspects of the school such as drama, school trips and volunteering.In Transition Year I was selected to go on a trip to Lourdes, France to volunteer with The Irish Pilgrimage Trust. I worked as part of the back stage team doing photography and projections for the annual talent show. I would also perform in this show with the school's choir.       Conducted extensive research in the area of consumer behaviour and sustainable food. The title of my thesis is "Consumer attitudes to sustainable food". The research was carried out using quantitative methods including Structural Equation Modelling. Presented at the Irish Academy of Management's Annual Conference. Presented a paper on "What do consumers understand sustainable food to be?" in 2021. In 2022, I presented my paper on "Consumer perceptions of the convenience of sustainable food" in Trinity College Dublin. Participation in the 'Hear to Help' Peer Support Initiative as part of a Covid-19 response initiative coordinated by the Teaching and Learning Centre, IT Carlow. This initiative centred on supporting undergraduate students from across the Institute in terms of addressing their academic, pastoral and socially-related concerns. Coordinated and facilitated, in conjunction with the Institute's Teaching and Learning Centre, a CPD session for staff in Carlow College based around the experiences of implementing and operating a student-led peer support initiative.
