      Internship with the PARIETAL team : Brain age prediction with MEG data

      Internship supervisors : Apolline Mellot, Thomas Chapalain and Bertrand ThirionI worked on the thesis of Apolline Mellot, "Apprentissage statistique et adaptation de domaine pour l'amélioration de la mesure de la santé cérébrale à base de signaux MEG et EEG" ("Statistical learning and domain adaptation for improved brain health measurement based on MEG and EEG signals") and especially on brain age prediction with domain adaptation ("Harmonizing and aligning M/EEG datasets with covariance-based techniques to enhance predictive regression modeling").During this internship, I wanted to add a new dataset, the OMEGA dataset, to the brain age prediction benchmark from the paper "A reusable benchmark of brain-age prediction from M/EEG resting-state signals". I worked with Magnetoencephalography (MEG) data and the packages MNE and MNE-BIDS-Pipeline and learned how the Riemann-based model for brain age prediction works. I also implemented a model to classify control subjects and subjects with Parkinson’s in the OMEGA dataset. To finish, I had the opportunity to take part in the three-day Benchopt sprint where we learned how Benchopt works and we implemented the brain age benchmark with Benchopt. Voir moins
