  I Co-Supervisor a team of 27 associates with one other supervisor and one manager. I train new associates on Medicare billing and Follow up. I oversee associates who Bill and Follow-up on Medicare Inpatient, Outpatient, Recurring Therapy on the UB04/Instituational claims as well as HCFA-1500/Professional claims forms for Psych Therapy and Urgenct Care Centers. I work escalated account follow up and adjustments. I bill claims when needed. I manage Outlook emails, reminders, and tasks. I work to manage and teach the managing of Aged Accounts, to review and convey this I use Excel w/ Pivot tables, X-Claims, and Meditech. I perform Performance Feedback and Developement (PFDs) Reviews. I research new Medicare edits and Medicare FI processing issues, and file Appeals as needed to Medicare. I maintain, enhance, and build processes for our AR Specialist team to maintain a compliant billing and follow up team. And love to constantly learn more each day so the horizons are wide open in what I am able to do as long as someone is willing to teach me. Show less
