  New Product Introduction Project1. Establish and improve new product development and introduction procedures. Take responsibility of applying the procedures to new product projects.2. Define and evaluate NPI projects according to requirements of management team. Work with related functions to do project feasibility analysis based on the data from market investigation, concepts, budget, financial data, resources and production capability. Present evaluation reports to management team for review and approval.3. Organize passport review with management team on potential projects and identify the projects for development. Evaluate the suppliers’ equipment status and manufacturing capability. If supplier base is unable to meet the part manufacturing needs, work with SDE to develop and qualify new suppliers.4. Provide quotation of the parts and components to sister companies. Negotiate with domestic suppliers for cost down.5. Organize and coordinate cross function team to go through the process from parts sampling to the pilot run production, and then to mass production. The job includes: review and make sure parts manufacturing process and inspection/testing methods which the suppliers provide is correct or reasonable. Qualify the suppliers’ GRR. Deal with quality problems during sampling and pilot run production. Work with sister companies on PPAP to push each project forward.6. Cooperate with sister companies to make yearly purchasing plan including blanket orders or KANBAN plan.7. Work to ensure orders OTD and good quality. Cooperate with SQEs/MEs in the factory to help suppliers improve parts quality continuously.8. Organize project meetings regularly to review project status and coordinate all issues.9. Take part in supply chain management activities and events.10. Evaluate subordinate yearly performance and help her to develop career planning and training programs. Show less
