Projects: Strengthening to Iron Ore Jetty Deck at ABP Docks; also new RC Foundations to Galvanising Line and other miscellaneous civil/building works throughout the plant.

  Sandwich training for third year of B.Eng Honours Degree. Trainee Engineer based on Access To Mid Rhondda Highways Scheme, (£10M). Construction of new relief road including 21 major structures and all associated demolition, services diversions, earthworks, storm and foul drainage. Setting out, surveying, measurement, quality management and site supervision. Training: Temporary Works Design (Formwork).

  Trainee Engineer based on Redevelopment of Port Talbot Town Centre - pedestrianisation, new office block development, services diversions, drainage, shopfronts, architectural planters and street furniture. Setting out, surveying, measurement, quality control and site supervision. Also, first experience with use of explosives at BSC Port Talbot - No4 Blast Furnace Reline (Dustcatcher).
