      First summer job and industrial experience as Junior Supervisor, working for the family Site Investigation firm, based at the National Coal Board Nant Helen site, Abercrave, South Wales.Responsibilities included supervision, supply of plant, equipment, mechanical spares, fuel and other consumables to three rotary drilling rig crews.Exploratory drilling to approx 300m deep into the coal measures for future opencast mining.
