      Jan 2021 - Jun 2021
      Graduate research assistant

In this position, I worked with the South African National Biodiversity Institute and the Breede-Gouritz Catchment Management Agency, in which I conducted data capture, trend analysis, and graphing on 14 years worth of historical water quality data from the Breede River. This has provided me with valuable skills in independent research, as the specifics of the research plan were all self-led. Furthermore, this has been a valuable opportunity to make a positive impact in my field as the results from my research will be used for yearly reports and to assist stakeholders in understanding the trajectory of water pollution in the Breede in recent years.
