      During my time as project worker at Catch-22 I was employed in several roles; initially, as a part-time Sessional Worker on their Tooting and Battersea Junior YIP programs; then later as a part-time Project Worker.       As a senior core worker involved in a Random Control Trial (RCT), the ‘London Education and Inclusion’ project, I worked collaboratively with ICAN Charity and Cambridge University to deliver an evidence based intervention to young people in years 9 and 10 with academic difficulties and challenging behaviour who are at of risk of exclusion.As a senior core worker on the programme I work closely with the leadership team to make sure the ‘Intense’ and ‘Light’ programmes are delivered effectively on the ground. I was responsible for supporting 10 core workers to manage their caseloads, for 1:1 support, accessing their clients needs and developing agreed support plans with young people, families and school.- Worked collaboratively with ICAN communication advisors to create the RCT ‘intense’ 12 week course focusing on developing the young people’s social, emotional and communication skills. - Experienced in delivering the 12 week course across 20 secondary schools’. - Supported the ‘light’ intervention side of the RCT with our corporate volunteers to deliver a one off workshop with a focus on employability skills.- Embed the ICAN resources to increase the teams knowledge of strategies to support young people with hidden communication. - Experienced in writing reports on young people at an academic level to Cambridge University for the RCT.- Qualified in ‘preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector’ (PTTL’s)- Over four years experienced in using sims data management software. Show less A key worker on the DfE funded Engage in Education programme, i worked in partnership with a communication advisor from ICAN charity and a Teacher from Pupil Parent Partnership (PPP) to mentor a caseload of 40 young people at risk of exclusion and becoming not in education, employment or training (NEET).
