  My first exposure to direct sales. I was exposed to new client acquisition, digital marketing, safety and workman's comp., occupational medicine, vocational training, soft skills development, and a myriad of financial and revenue metrics. The operation of 100+ roster contract labor agency truly instilled and entrepreneurial spirit in me and a desire to make my clients successful. This role exposed me to direct supervision of FTE staff and medical compliance. It also helped met to hone my strengths as a public speaker and presenter and increase my soft-skill literacy. I was privileged to work with a great clinical team and learned about the value of motivating others and inspiring patients to promote their own health. My first management role working as an operations engineer was an incredible learning opportunity. I was privileged to receive mentorship from other successful Program Managers who shared their wisdom and learning regarding software tracking, physical plant, fleet, contract negotiation, and patient satisfaction data. This is where I learned the value of cost-containment and the value of developing strong business relationships within the community.

  This opportunity gave me the chance to spearhead an architectural and process redesign into uncharted territory. Relocating to Amarillo, TX and giving frequent presentation and educational seminars to an entirely new group of key stakeholders while managing the contract and FTE personnel during a period of change was an experience I will never forget. I am proud to have helped to successfully open the doors of this flourishing new addition to the Foundation's portfolio. I was given more influence within the operations of the Baton Rouge facility. I worked with executive leadership to increase census and revenue targets. With the support of a fantastic management team we were able to beautify the facility through renovations, increase customer satisfaction, boost new patient census, and maintain clinical compliance.

Strategic planning, risk mitigation, clinical oversight, and regulatory compliance were key takeaways from this role. I am proud of the work my team and I accomplished to this day.
