  Representative cases:- Advised and successfully acted for an investment fund manager and a large global bank in a claim against a foreign guarantor for sums due under a cross-border syndicated loan agreement.- Advised and acted for a major East Asian bank in relation to requests from Singapore tax authorities for confidential customer banking information pursuant to exchange of information requests from a foreign country under a bilateral tax treaty.- Advised and acted for a former Director and Chief Executive Officer of a major multinational corporation in defending claims for fraudulent misrepresentation and conspiracy to injure. Advised and acted for the Director in the successful defence of the plaintiff’s subsequent appeal to the Court of Appeal, as well as the eventual winding up of the insolvent plaintiff. - Acted for a major private education provider in its appeal to the Court of Appeal in respect of claims against a non-governmental organisation and a major Singapore insurer for, inter alia, a judicial review of decisions taken in breach of natural justice, claims for breaches of contract and for inducing a breach of contract. - Advised a major Japanese multinational corporation on revising its internal standard operating procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable Singapore anti-corruption laws.
