  I graduated from BYU with a BFA and Graphic Design and took my part-time position to full-time, working at BYU Publications and Graphics. It was a great experience working for McRay Magelby and being part of a great team. I have work that was accepted into CA and Print, and assisted Mac on the design of the YW logo. I was a part-time instructor, teaching Intro to Graphic Design, 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional design to freshman and sophomores entering the design program. By 1994, WD&P was requiring more travel that would interfere with the semester. But I loved the experience!

  At Close To My Heart I was a member of a 5-person executive team. I managed 3 designers/production artists, 4 scrapbook artists, and an agency that added many elements of our creative work. I managed all press checks and attended all photo shoots as a stylist. I even designed a product or two myself.

  At Dowdle, I wore many hats. I managed the largest company accounts--Costco US and Canada and Sam's Club, meeting all vendor requirements, creating the holiday programs and meeting with toy buyers. I managed all product manufacturing (mostly puzzles) and met with print and production teams regularly. And I produced all marketing and package design. I managed the inventory, shipping and warehouse for some of the time until others were hired.

  I am excited to lead the team to maintain and build the brand of Utah Valley University, the largest University in Utah. The university is on an exciting path of accelerated growth, and the team I work with is phenomenal. University Relations and Marketing Communications makes sure all messaging and branding is consistent. Our team includes talented designers, writers, photographers and web developers.
