  Design and fabrication of thin-film layers for optoelectronic devices. Evaluation of optical and structural properties of thin-film, bulk, metals, and glass by using the surface characterization and implementation in optical modeling using Transfer Matrix Formalism and Monte Carlo Ray Tracing for the determination of performance and optical characteristics like quantum efficiency, number of the photon absorbed in each layer, and reflectance of optoelectronic devices such as solar cells. I was involved in teaching various undergraduate Physics laboratory classes (Mechanics, Electronics & Electromagnetism), teaching recitation, proctoring and grading of the homework and exams.

  I am working at the thin-film and photovoltaics lab of Prof. Nikolas J. Podraza at UToledo's Wright Center for Photovoltaics Innovation and Commercialization (PVIC). I also serve as lab leader for thin silicon lab.My responsibilities included➡ Fabricate, characterize, and modeling of thin-film materials for optoelectronic devices like solar cells.➡ Real-time monitoring of growth evolution during the deposition.➡ Provide oversight and mentorship to graduate and undergraduate student projects. ➡ Guide on troubleshooting different vacuum deposition instruments to reduce downtime.➡ Prepare scientific reports for publication and dissemination to funding agencies.➡ Liaison with companies and outside universities for thin-film deposition and optical characterization.Selected completed projects ● Performed maintenance, troubleshooting of the eight chamber cluster tool from MVsystem and optimized plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD), sputtering, and thermal evaporation on the same tool.● Successfully optimized the fabrication of crystalline vanadium oxide by using reactive RF sputtering.
