Compiled original cosmetic formulations in compliance with the Voluntary Cosmetic Registration Program as regulated by the FDA (Form FDA 2512). Worked in Oracle systems such as Agile and LIMS. Supported global sales force in yearly seminar and assisted in production of the convention.

  Global Inventory Control Virtual Mentorship

  During June of 2020, I completed a virtual mentorship with Mary Kay’s Global Inventory Control department over the video conference platform of Zoom. I had the opportunity to learn from and build relationships with the leadership within this department.I attended two weekly Zoom calls for five weeks. Each week I met with a sub-team within the Global Inventory Control department. The sub-teams that I had the privilege to learn about included: Data Management, MPS Planning, Phase Out, Data Analytics, and Promotional teams. I gained insights into the daily tasks of each team, their long term goals/vision, and a full look at the supply chain within Mary Kay. I also had a weekly mentor session with department leaders discussing the book “Do it Scared”. The mentor sessions each week enlightened me with advice about entering the workforce, being a woman in the supply chain field, and the confidence to utilize my inner strengths and grow through my weaknesses.   Automated and integrated the central weigh tracking system with the processing schedule in order to eliminate daily manual work and improve communication. Excel functions utilized included Power Query, Index Match, IF statements, and Pivot Charts. Communicated with departments including central weigh, processing, packaging, quality control, and warehousing to account for lead time activities in order to have more accurate data for planning, forecasting, and cost analysis purposes. This project is ongoing. Presented my two projects to leadership within Mary Kay at the end of the summer. Show less
