  At CTRAN Consulting Pvt Ltd. I was associated with two projects, 1) National Vegetable Initiative for Urban Cluster (NVIUC) and 2) Assessment of warehouse and cold storage in Odisha (A World Bank Project). In addition to that I have prepared proposals for several projects. While working for NVIUC my major responsibilities were:- Sensitizing farmers for group formation - Mobilising farmers into farmers'​ interest group (FIGs)- Imparting training to farmers on Improved package of practices in vegetable cultivation- Strengthening of FIGs by organising monthly meetings, opening of bank account, linking with funding agencies, linking with market and input dealers- Registration of three Farmers'​ Producer Organization (FPO) in Companies Act. in two districts of Odisha and mobilising all the FIGs into it- Strengthening of FPO by collecting the share capital from all the farmers, support to get the fertilizer and pesticide license, preparing report to get the equity capital from Small Farmers' Agribusiness Consortium, Collective marketing of vegetables through Udyan fresh, Veggie Cart and Reuters Market Light- Formation of State Level Committee for Farmer Producer Organization Working for Assessment of warehouse and cold storage in Odisha my major responsibilites were:- Meeting with proprietors of cold storages- Gathering primary and secondary information for scope of ware house and cold storage- Meetings at different warehouses which includes Odisha State Warehousing Corporation and FCI godowns Show less
