  Lumino Stars is a company owned pre-school (Mukta group) started in June 2012. As the Principal my responsibilities included starting the new brand and ensuring its success, counseling parents and converting enquiries into admissions as well as day-to-day administration of the center. As a member of the core curriculum team, I have designed and developed the curriculum, designed worksheets and activity sheets for children with emphasis given to activities involving different skill areas of the child namely fine motor skills, cognitive skills, logical-mathematical skills and so on. Responsibilities also included review of worksheets and advise to the curriculum team. Introduced Extended Hours of Learning for children with activities such as Music, Dance, Art and Craft, Science and Sports.Driven the implementation of ENTLogics ACE app, communication interface between school and the external world (parents). This app is extensively used by the school for announcements and regular updates to parents on activities conducted by the school. Show less

  As a Program Lead, my responsibilities included ensuring the quality of program and pedagogy, guiding and mentoring the team in planning effective learning experiences for children based on the emergent curriculum and EYFS curriculum framework. During the pandemic, my job involved designing and planning the format of the virtual live sessions which includes age appropriate and context sensitive activities and content. This also involves taking into consideration the emerging interests of children and needs of families while focusing on the Intent, Implementation and Impact of each learning experience. I have been involved in guiding and mentoring the team in crafting the Individual Child Engagement Plan with customized activities pertaining to all the areas of learning and development based on the age and stage of development of each child. Conducting Knowledge Share sessions for my team, as part of the Teacher Engagement Program was something I enjoyed. I have also conducted a virtual parenting session on “Toilet Training Your Child” for the families at Goldman Sachs.While at the center, I was closely involved in ensuring program is delivered keeping in mind the Bright Horizons standards. I have been part of the J. P. A meetings for my team members to ensure SMART goals are set and achieved. Show less
