      During my time with the McDonald's of Yakima County, owned and operated by Greg and Jan Luring, I was able to work my way up from a crew member to a shift manager for our restaurant in one year's time. The role of a shift manager is to oversee the daily operations of the restaurant during a manager's shift and to assist the general manager in generating revenue and transactions during the hours of operation.       As a fresh-out-of-college graduate, I had the incredible opportunity of having an internship at EMC Corporation immediately following my graduation ceremony. Over the course of a few short four months, I had the ability to work alongside the product marketing teams in the Seattle office to curate partner communications plan to ensure all partners of EMC were receiving the most recent information about the Isilon business unit around the world. Upon my completion of the communication plan two months into my internship, I had the opportunity then to work alongside the marketing communications team in assisting in their social media efforts for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. During this time, I was able to create editorial calendars, schedule posts, create creative elements sized for various platforms and encourage our employees to share posts on social to spread the word. Following the conclusion of my internship, I was offered a full-time position at EMC Corporation as their social media manager for the Isilon business unit which evolved into managing all social media for their Emerging Technologies Division.       During my course at Dell EMC as a Digital Marketing Campaigns Manager, I worked alongside our product marketing teams to develop & implement several campaign programs to assist our sales organization in collecting and nurturing leads. We would collect leads by implementing a few various tactics which included - but was not limited to - surveys, webcasts, online forms, newsletter subscriptions, etc. From there, we would work to nurture our leads through the buyer's journey in ensuring that all leads received were gathering the applicable information needed about the technology they were most interested/aligned to throughout every step of the funnel. In addition to developing quarterly/annual marketing programs with our product teams, I was able to help curate the go-to-market social media strategy for organic media for peak & non-peak periods throughout the year. This was a joint effort not only with the product marketing teams but the Dell EMC Corporate social media teams to ensure we had a singular message across the entire ecosystem. During this time I had the ability to implement new social media marketing strategies for the first time on the Dell EMC social media ecosystem which included streaming pre-recorded video on Facebook Live. From September to October of 2017, we released a series of teaser videos that were launched each week on the Dell EMC Facebook page to help tease up an anticipated #IQTDay Launch happening mid-October in New York City. This was the first time in which we as a company, had explored using Facebook with pre-recorded video and were able to do so successfully while learning a thing or two to improve upon in future use cases. To help drive conversations to our sales representatives, it is crucial we leverage social media to provide product awareness, technical support and more importantly, establish a relationship with our end-users to create brand loyalty that help drive revenue for the organization.At Dell EMC, I am responsible for overseeing the Emerging Technologies Division (ETD)'s social media strategy that encompasses our product lines such as Isilon, ViPR, ScaleIO, ECS and DSSD. From curating content strategies, maintaining editorial calendar schedules for upcoming content, and creating social media campaigns - I collaborate on the strategy with various teams to provide an end-to-end marketing plan and work within the entire Dell EMC organization on supporting the digital marketing activities. At the end of the 2014 year, I designed the ETD social media strategy that encompasses the visual, voice and content strategies for each product channel. In every passing year that I've been with EMC, we as a social media team at EMC only continue to refine that strategy which ensures that our brand is on trend and we are the leader in the space of social.In addition to maintaining my social media channels on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, I also manage our technical community for ViPR & ECS. Managing the communities is not only about keeping it 'fresh' or adding content to the forums; it's about promoting employee advocacy and curating a welcoming experience for new members to join and learn from one another.       At TechPower Solutions Inc., the responsibility of the Marketing Manager is a broad and busy role. From managing digital marketing campaigns with agencies, to optimizing the TechPower website with SEO metadata tags and developing/executing events for prospects and customers - there's no shortage of work or opportunities at this role presents. As TechPower is an HPE Platinum Partner, it allows me to better understand the line of business from HPE and how as a channel partner we can better focus our efforts in the Pacific Northwest by not just go-to-market messaging but customer nurturing; both in person and digitally. Unlike my previous role at Dell EMC, this role has allowed me to expand my marketing knowledge and better become an expert in all components of the marketing realm vs a specialist in one field of study. Each day I work in the CRM - sending emails to leads & customers while viewing how well our messaging and tactics are resonating with our audience. From there, I work with our sales organization to help prospect new accounts in the local region. Furthermore, my day is spent creating, orchestrating and executing events to help enhance our customer's knowledge on the newest technologies provided by Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP Inc. Last but not least, I can typically be found creating new posters, email icons, banner images and more in Photoshop while occasionally adding an extra person or two that is missing from our company holiday picture.
