  The goal of this project was building and programming a Lego Mindstorms robot. The robot needed to be able to race, as fast as possible, across a circuit, by following a black line. On top of that the robot needed to perform five small tricks and one creative trick.   Build an application to deduplicate personal data. Created the possibility for the foundation to upload Excel-files coming from different streams of data to the application. Duplicate data is removed by means of an algorithm.   David worked at Randstad Groep IT Nederland as a Hippo back-end developer in Randstad’s development team, responsible for the Yacht domain. The goal of the project was a complete re-design of BMC.nl, in a timeframe of only 4 months. This meant building a Hippo instance from scratch. David’s main responsibility during this project was the creation of different components, such as banners and a carousel, within the Hippo CMS. Creating these components involved configuration in the Hippo Console, creation of document types in the Hippo CMS and development of Java classes and freemarker templates.During his time working at Randstad, David learned to communicate with Elasticsearch, to retrieve BMC related vacancies and contacts from the database.
