Led 12 cross-functional staff and 20 volunteers handling ~20 ministries and faith-based programs providing religious education, ceremonial services, and leadership training to 22,000+ personnel. Planned and managed a $7.2M chapel with 125+ monthly events for ~5700 attendees.• Spearheaded an island-wide chaplain training program that included 14 distinct annual trainings for 31 chaplains and 27 lay leaders. Wrote the RMT section of III Marine Expeditionary Force Campaign Plan. • Served as Mortuary Affairs Chaplain in Kuwait for a six month deployment to the Middle East. Filling a difficult and important chaplain role in the Global War on Terrorism, gained critical insight in meeting operational ministry needs in a joint environment.• Served as Chaplain for all DoD personnel assigned to Al-Mubarak Air Base. Conducted two weekly services and created a ministry website. Received 148+ flights with 244 remains of US service members and coalition forces, performing 93 ramp ceremonies. Offered pastoral support and grief counseling to 17 escorts and 30+ Mortuary Affairs personnel. • Provided regular visits and pastoral support to hundreds of ill or injured Marines and the Warrior Recovery Unit.
