  Senior Loss Control Representative

  In this role, I delivered excellent outcomes, providing Property/Casualty and Workers' Compensation loss control services to a self-insurance pool with 270 municipal members in the State of Colorado. I advised/trained members and reviewed policies on LO/TO, Distracted Driving, Confined Space Entry, and Hazard Communication under the Globally Harmonized System. I conducted environmental assessments for property transactions and assessed risk to establish priorities for improvements and risk reduction. I wrote an OSHA Reference Guide for best practices with municipal exposures. I partnered with facilities managers to resolve indoor air quality issues. I also conducted security and safety inspections for hundreds of facilities, annually. My contributions included:• Co-wrote and collaborated on the design of five Online Training Center courses and several professionally produced videos.• Recorded and edited Job Safety Analysis videos on dozens of common municipal exposures• Developed and executed new and customized training packages on topics, including field ergonomics and body mechanics, hearing conservation, defensive driving, and effective safety committees• Initiated follow-up and coaching for workers' compensation target members to support workplace safety changes.• Implemented peer-to-peer coaching and reduced injury leave periods.
