      Jun 2010 - Jul 2010
      Engineer in training

I worked in the Engineering offices focusing primarily on electrical engineering and automated systems.I was tasked to reprogram a depaletizer robot to automatically restart its cycle; I managed to find the problem but I was unable to actually run and test my changes to the code due to copyright issues. This taught me a lot about PLCs and Ladder code.I was part of a team that replaced power factor correcting capacitors in the main substation. This highlighted the dangers of hi-voltage maintenance and the importance of carrying out procedures safely. Show less
