      Jan 1990 - Jan 1999
      Vice President

Recruited to join RSUI to move a small book of D&O business from the New York office of Royal Insurance to their specialty operation in Atlanta, Georgia. Played an instrument role in retaining renewals and increasing premium production. Notably tackled a New York Department of Insurance complaint in which the company’s policy form was allegedly non-compliant with New York regulations; successfully concluded this complaint by conducting extensive research on insurance regulations, and prepared a thorough presentation to the Insurance Department justifying our efforts to be in compliance. As a result of these vigorous efforts, no penalties were assessed to the company even though there were some minor corrections needed in the forms to be 100% compliant. Show less
