      Aug 2015 - Jan 2019

It was fun working as a freelancer for the very first time in my life. I got to write branded content, sports content (IPL, Soccer, Lawn Tennis, WWE), poster scripts, caption content, charticles etc. I ensured everything was completed before the deadline and my employers regularly kept sending me positive emails about my work. Got the opportunity to manage/lead a team of 5-9 people and this proved to be an enlightening ride where I learnt people skills like never before. A place that always pushes you to get better and better. One gets surprised in this course to find oneself improving beyond imagination. A great career boost, giving me the exact uplift that I was looking for.

I spent a decent two years at Decathlon and learned the on-ground sales the hard way. It was two years of building business for my Artengo Department by organizing events and tieing up with coaches. I achieved my forecasted numbers and also received a high-end Lawn Tennis racket as a bonus for my work. I dealt with so many parents and not just sold them products, but took care of their consumer experience like I never thought I could. Jun 2020 - now

After my formal management education came to an end and it was time to practice managerial learnings in the real world, Essentially Sports gave me the right platform and more than that, the responsibility to take on the mantle. Currently, I'm in the role that demands inspiring a team of highly knowledgeable and professional editors who bring unique set of skills to the table as we together strive to give ES a bigger name in the digital sports media space. 🌌 🚀 During the tough times of lockdown, I came across this industry leader in sports media. At ES, I worked as a Sr. Writer and also learnt more about SEO and content management. Reaching millions of readers every month, this was a good way to quench one's thirst to reach out directly to hardcore sports fans and build a rapport. I wrote holistically on NBA and also made stints as Tennis 🎾 and UFC writer to contribute towards 1800 pieces.
